Shopify Payments

Go to Settings → Payments → View payouts → View Transactions.
Select Export → select range and CSV type → Export balance transactions.
Shopify emails the CSV to you. Return here and drop that attachment above.

Stripe observed

The exact menu path was not itemised. The observed route was Stripe Dashboard → test mode → All activity export. Use the equivalent All activity export in the account and mode you are reconciling.
Export the activity as CSV and drop the original file above. The observed export already contained id, Type, Source, Amount, Fee, Net, Currency, Created (UTC), and Available On (UTC); no column-selection interface was observed or assumed.

PayPal

Navigation not yet confirmed on a live business account. In a business sandbox the observed route is Home → View Activity, then the download control. On a personal account it is Activity → download statement → Download detailed statements → Custom. PayPal documents Activity → All Reports → Activity download, which we have not reached ourselves. Either way, you want the screen titled Activity report.
Set Transaction type to All transactions. Do not choose Balance affecting: it removes pending and other not-yet-settled activity that Tieout needs to explain the difference. The dropdown offers All transactions, Completed payments, and Balance affecting.
Set Format to CSV, then Create Report. PayPal queues the report and emails you; download it from that same page.
Open Customize your report and tick every field group. A business account offers this dialog; the fields Tieout needs — Gross, Fee, Net, Reference Txn ID, Balance Impact and Transaction Event Code — are spread across its groups, and Transaction Event Code is not selected by default. A personal account offers no field selection at all, and the CSV it produces is missing those six columns, so Tieout will refuse it.
The business report screen above was observed in a PayPal sandbox account, not a live one. The wording on your screen may differ. If Tieout refuses your file, tell us what your export offered rather than guessing at the columns.

Xero ledger observed

Xero has no CSV option anywhere. Do not spend time looking for one. Start with Google Sheets so the report’s Running Balance formulas are evaluated.

Go to Reporting → Account Transactions.
Filter the report to one account. Do not export all accounts: that file has no single closing anchor.
Include Date, Source, Description, Reference, Debit, Credit, and Running Balance.
Recommended: choose Google Sheets. After the sheet opens, use File → Download → CSV. Opening it in Sheets evaluates Xero’s volatile Running Balance formulas before download.
Excel alternative: export the workbook, open it in a spreadsheet application, and then save it as CSV. Do not use an automated converter: it leaves Running Balance as zeroes and Tieout refuses the file.
